The Opportunity:
Planview is seeking a Financial Analyst – Workday Adaptive Specialist to join the Finance and Accounting team in India. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy finance professional with a strong background in financial planning, analytics, and enterprise tools like Workday Adaptive Planning. You’ll be a key contributor in streamlining financial processes and delivering meaningful insights to support data-driven decision making.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets in collaboration with internal teams.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual and forecasted performance.
- Organize and analyze financial data from systems like NetSuite and Salesforce.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and automate financial workflows using Adaptive Planning.
- Support the FP&A team with ad-hoc modeling and analysis.
- Assist in the design and maintenance of financial models and presentations.
- Perform regular audits, data validation, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Create and maintain dashboards, dynamic reports, and visualizations in Adaptive Planning.
Key Technical Skills:
Workday Adaptive Planning, Excel (Advanced), SQL, Financial Modeling, Forecasting, Data Analysis, NetSuite, Salesforce
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology.
- 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally within the software or finance industry.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience partnering across FP&A and business teams.
- Hands-on expertise in Workday Adaptive Planning (formulas, models, reports).
- Knowledge of financial planning structures (hierarchies, attributes, dimensions).
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to troubleshoot systems-related issues.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data interpretation.
- SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A growth mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
